I'm trying to finish up this homework assignment that's due tomorrow, but I think my brain's already in vacation mode (it's only a weekend long, but it's still a vacation!). I'm so excited to see (almost) everyone at alumni weekend! It doesn't feel like we've been apart for almost a year. And Patrick will be there, of course. Seeing him every two weeks is so much better than every three weeks. I always get all apathetic and depressed during that third week. Luckily, we can avoid that this time.

Mmm....I'm baking cinnamon rolls, and they smell good! Maybe I'll take some to work, or else to California. There's no way I can eat 2 dozen by Thursday night!

I spilled a packet of yeast all over my carpet and had to vacuum it up, but it was totally worth it :)

Today while I was waiting for class, I walked around outside, since it was such a beautiful day. And I took some pictures (mouse over for captions):

a squirrel!   what a strange thing to write on a bench!

pretty tree that I always admire from the 5th floor   another pretty tree

I'm so glad spring is finally here!

Re: Katie's guestbook entry. That is weird that we were both at Judy Jetson at the same time. I should've been paying more attention! Instead I had my nose buried in a Cosmo or Vogue or something similar (I don't get many chances to read girly magazines, since I can't justify spending my money on basically the same content every month) and totally missed seeing her. Not that I would've realized she was any different from any other salon patron, but still. The intersection of online life and real life is always a little unsettling, but exciting at the same time.

It was beautiful today, but I spent a good portion of it in the basement of the library. At least I got to eat lunch outside. There were even some beautiful flowering trees nearby. Here's a picture (that's Boston across the river).

I'm hungry--I can't think of anything else to say about my day. Oh, but I wish Patrick had been here so we could've had a picnic in the sun.
